Hello! It’s lovely to meet you! I’m Jill Burkemper. I am married to the love of my life and I’m the proud mother of two amazing, independent girls. We share our home with an ornery tuxedo cat and sweet Snickerdoodle, our Mini Rex. During the day, I am a library media specialist for an elementary school. Most evenings, I work on writing picture books and middle grade novels. I’m a member of the wonderful SCBWI (Society for Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators) organization. If you can’t find me in the library or snuggled on my couch reading, you might find me knitting, painting, or spending time outdoors.
